Climate changes may make your skin look dull and gloomy. The main reason is that we do not alter our skin care regimen based on the climatic conditions. Our skin react differently to different products at different climates. Here I have compiled a few tips that will help you to take care of your skin during monsoon. Lets get started with some of the Monsoon skin care tips.

TIP #1 : Cleanse

If your skin tends to get very dry during monsoon, change your face wash to the one that caters the needs of extremely dry skin. Never use face washes that are meant to be for oily skin. Always cleanse your face in the mornings and evenings, regardless of how oily or dry your skin is, because dust and pollution might cause breakouts and bacterial infections more during winters.

TIP #2 : Tone

Be it summers or winters, always use alcohol free toner. Rise in humidity during monsoon causes pores to get enlarged thereby accumulating dust and impurities. Alcohol free toner cleans pores and avoids clogging of impurities into the skin.

TIP #3 : Exfoliate

Never avoid exfoliation even if you tend to have dry skin. Instead limit exfoliation to once a week because it is very important to get rid of dead cells and impurities and give a bright glow to your face. Always prefer using homemade scrubs to avoid allergy during monsoon.

TIP #5 : Oils

Avoid sing oils like coconut oil or castor oil to your skin as these might clog pores during monsoon. Always use light weight oils like bio oil or almond oil at night to moisturize your skin.
