Must Have Indian Ethnic Blouses
I own a lot of saris and maintaining different blouses for each sari is a task by itself. Moreover, blouses with heavy work done on them are not comfortable at all. Hence, it is wise to have certain blouses which can match almost any saris that you own. Here are some of my must have blouse trends if you are a sari hoarder.
Any Indian Woman will have at least one silk sari in her closet and a simple golden zari blouse would suit all gold embellished silk sari. Remember to choose gold and not bronze because gold matches silk saris and bronze doesn’t.
Now this depends completely on what you have in your wardrobe. Some may have a lot of bronze toned designer saris and some may have a lot of silver toned saris. It is better to choose sequined blouse to go well with these kind of metallic mix saris.
This basic black colored blouse can match any basic Georgette/cotton/semi-cotton/chiffon saris with have a black hue to it. My personal choice is to have a netted/lacy black to go with all fabrics.
To match with the recent trend of pairing plain saris with phulkari blouse, you got to have one in your closet. You can match any number of plain saris with this single phulkari blouse. Make sure to opt for princess cut blouse, to style your plain sari in single pleat.
The trend itself is overwhelming, there is kalamkari sari, blouse, bag, skirt, shirt and what not. I would suggest owning one kalamkari blouse, preferably a three quarter blouse (because the kalamkari design can be shown off!) for all subtly printed plain saris or a kerala saris.
I had a good time compiling these blouse collection. Let me know what blouses do you own.
